Lior Simon is a Principal, Managing the operations of Arbor Ventures in Israel, where she focuses on finding the best teams and technologies to invest in. She works closely with the companies and among several aspects, helps them penetrate the Asian market.
Prior to joining Arbor, Lior gained five years of Venture Capital experience at Sequoia Capital, where she served as an Associate and had the privilege of accompanying companies from the initial stage of sourcing deal flow, managing due diligence processes, worked closely with startup management teams to formulate strategic plans and core processes. Lior was Board Observer of multiple Sequoia portfolio companies and actively participated in M&A deals such as; Kontera (acquired by Singtel), Wilocity (acquired by Qualcomm), Sansa (acquired by ARM), densbits (acquired by Avago) and Streamrail (acquired by IronSource).
Lior has a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. She previously server in the Israeli Defense Force as a Physical Fitness Instructor for combat officers and received excellency award by Major General in the Military.
